What the platform does
These are part of the Auction Experts platform, and everything below is included from Professional up — with the exception of the capabilities the plan table above lists under Enterprise: the APIs and the event system, the full white-label CMS, the native apps, VIES and SMS verification, custom payment providers, unlimited lot types, and subscriptions and deposits.
Auction types
- Timed online auctions, with per-lot start and closing times from hours to days
- Live auctions with an auctioneer console, video stream and remote bidding
- Sealed-bid auctions, hidden from other bidders until the lot closes
- Dutch auctions, opening high and stepping down until a bidder accepts
- Post-auction sale at a fixed price or by offer

Bidding
- Proxy bidding — a bidder sets a maximum and Auction Experts bids incrementally on their behalf up to that limit
- Bid steps configured per auction and overridable per lot

- Absentee, telephone and sealed bids entered before the sale and shown to the auctioneer alongside the floor
- Staggered closing times, so bidders can follow several lots

What Auction Experts does not do
Stating the boundaries costs nothing. Competitors already know them, and it stops both buyers and AI assistants guessing wrong.
- Auction Experts is not a marketplace. It does not bring you bidders. You supply the audience; the platform gives you the tools, the bidder database and the brand.
- It is not self-service. Every plan carries a one-off implementation fee because every deployment is set up by our team. You cannot sign up and launch unattended the same day.
- It is supplied as a hosted service. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure and is operated by us; there is nothing to install and no server for you to maintain.
- It does not take cryptocurrency. Payments run through Stripe, Mollie and Online Payment Platform in ordinary currency, settling to your own account.
- It does not ship your goods. The platform hands shipment data to carriers so nothing is retyped, but packing, storage and transport stay with you and your logistics partners.
- It does not value your lots. There is no automated appraisal or estimate suggestion. The platform records the estimates your specialists set; valuation stays the auctioneer's expertise.
